In order to determine how much of the wall can be removed, without affecting the stability of the building, and to calculate the size of the beam you require, we will need a drawing or sketch of the existing and proposed layouts.

We will need details of what the beam is supporting. If floor joists are supported by the beam, we will need to know the sizes of the rooms. We will also need details of the roof structure and the height of the wall above the beam.

We do not ask for payment before we start the design work, an invoice will be sent with completed calculations. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
We are not currently VAT registered and so you will not be charged VAT.
